NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASHGuerilla Girls: Isadora Duncan, Kathy Acker and Remedios Varo were out and about on the streets of Cambridge on Sunday afternoon (8th February). Flyposting gorilla posters until politely requested to desist by a vigilant policeman. Visiting both Cambridge Darkroom Gallery and Kettles Yard they were pleased to find at least one woman artist's work on show.
They then proceeded to perambulate through the Cambridge streets and colleges handing out over 400 fliers (see below) and gorilla posters suggesting that recipients might like "a poster of me to put up in your bedroom!" a final visit to the Fitzwilliam Museum and Brownes' Restuarant on Trumpington St ended with a quick getaway chased by the manager of Brownes who was not amused - maybe he doesn't like bananas?.
